Water saving toilets

Water saving toilets come in all shapes and sizes.The number one reason you want to be able to replace your old toilet would be because it uses up to 20 litres of water.


If you're toilet is around 15 years old, it probably uses only 13L. If you have the latest models of low flush toilets, then you are only spending 3 to 6 liters of water.


Other water saving tips would be to use low flush toilets which in return use a smaller tank and a specially designed bowl to give the same flush power but with a lot less water.


If you are building a new house or just renovating it, go for the 6 liter ultra low-flush toilet.


Just by doing this, you will save between 50% to 70%. This is the equivalent of an amount of 102,000;1 liter bottles of potable water!


Another method to save on water is by installing electronic faucets like they do in certain public bathrooms when you go to the mall for example.
