Other advantages is that it directs moisture away from your home's foundation.

The beauty of rainwater is that its free of chemicals, chlorine, lime or calcium. A rain barrel will save most homeowners about 1,300 gallons of water during the peak summer months.

Other uses for water can be for emergency water storage. Of all the precious things in this world, water is one of the most important resources we have for our survival. Without water we wouldn't survive.

Think about it for a second, only 1% of water is potable, the rest of the 97% is composed of the ocean and 2% is found at both extremities of the ice poles.

So weather it be saving rain water or just saving water, it is equally important. You use what mother nature gave us to water our environment and use the treated water wisely.
