In arid climates, a water butt will be used to store water during rainy season for use during dryer periods of the year.

The water barrel is ideal for collecting rain. Plants prefer natural rainwater as it is soft and free from tap water which contains chlorine and lime. Your plants will love you for it.

Up to 60% of household water is used outdoors. Used correctly, a water butt will provide all your water needs to keep your lawn and flowers alive throughout the hot summer months.

Please keep in mind: Don't drink rainwater no matter how tempting it may look, what is good for the plants, is not necessarily intended for humans.

Some people will debate if rainwater is properly filtered, can it may be used as drinking water? The answer to that is yes, but that's another subject on its own.
