Hands Holding The Earth

Global Warming is the average increase of the earth`s temperature and near surface air and oceans. The primary greenhouse gas responsible for global warming is carbon dioxide.

Climate change has caused sea levels to rise 4 to 8 inches worldwide and if this continues, scientists predict it could rise up to 2 feet in the next 100 years. Another fact is the importance of preserving our coral reefs since they are sensitive to small changes in water temperature. Scientists say if the increase in C02 continues, coral reefs will be extinct by the year 2050.

What is causing global warming you may ask? We as human beings are responsible for what is happening to our earth. Industrialization, deforestation and pollution all trap heat near the surface of the earth.

This is not my personal opinion but this is a fact according to the 2007 February report of the UN Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change(IPCC)

Climate change can be caused by wasting water. If we take for example water treatment plants use huge amounts of electricity in the process of their water filtration methods. Well the production of this electricity is not produced by any renewable energy sources but by fossil fuels and as you know fossil fuels cause C02.
